VerDon Brooksby

VerDon Hamblin Brooksby, 84, born in Kanab, Utah, passed away July 2, 2014 in her Mesa home. She is survived by her husband of almost 65 years, J. Carl Brooksby, brother Evan (Shari) Hamblin, four children, Kent (Jan) Brooksby, Craig (Pauli) Brooksby, Linda (Brad) Hatch, and Don (Josie) Brooksby, 15 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. She was a wonderful wife and mother who loved to be with family and friends and was always the life of the party. Visitation will be Thursday, July 10, 2014, from 6-8 PM at Bunker’s Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way, Mesa, AZ 85201. Funeral services are Friday, July 11, 2014 at 11AM, with viewing at 10 AM at the LDS Westwood Chapel, 848 N. Westwood, Mesa, AZ 85201.
