Velvalee Cluff Service Broadcast
Velvalee Cluff was called home on July 31st, 2020 in Mesa, AZ. She is preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Eva as well as her Sister Beatrice Still. She is survived by her husband Wayne, her son Rick and daughter in law Terri, her son Mark and daughter in law Elizabeth and her son Greg. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Erica Cluff, Ryan Cluff, Josh Cluff, Marisa Heckman, Emily Cluff, and David Cluff as well as her 2 great-grandchildren Keaton and Braedon.
Velvalee led an active life that included being of service to her family, many friends, and to her church. She found joy in making things beautiful, she was an incredible artist and a talented painter, sewer, and decorator. Her artistic ability even found a home in the annual Easter pageant that was held at the Mesa Temple grounds, where you can see her work displayed on the stage in the props that were used as well as the some of the flags that were sewn. She was always doing something for somebody else, whether it was for her kids, her grandkids, her great-grandkids or her friends, she was always there for whenever a helping hand was needed. She was beautiful inside and out and was always an example to her family. She had an abiding testimony in her Savior and would always be found every morning dedicating her time to studying her scriptures and was ever prayerful in her daily life. The love she had for her family was immeasurable, she has touched each one of us in her own special way and we are all better because of it. We will miss her every day.
Due to the pandemic that is happening, the family will be having a private memorial service at this time. Please feel free to send condolences or share your memories of her. for more information please visit www.bunkerfuneral.com.
Our condolences as you go through this time. I never had the privilege of meeting your grandmother, Erica, but I love the memories and stories, pictures and such that you have shared. My hearts go out to your entire family as you all go through this. We love you! – Josh and Liz Nylin (Lydia and Jack, too!)
We are so sorry for your loss this beautiful human touched our hearts and our lives in ways you can’t imagine. We wish we could be with you to celebrate her amazing life but just know that we love you and we are here if you need anything. Heaven just gained another angel ?❤️
Velvalee was such a dear person. She was very special to me. We worked together on a homemaking committee, which was a perfect fit for her, but I was out of my comfort zone. She would laugh with me and would end up tidying up my project so it would look presentable. We tied many quilts together and that gave us lots of time to talk. She never forgot my birthday or Christmas. It is hard for me to think she is really gone. I will love her forever.
We are so sorry for Lili’s passing. Our love, thoughts, and prayers are with you all.
My thoughts and prayers with the Cluff family at this time. I know how much you adored your Nana. She was a very classy lady that loved her family. It showed in all that she did. I’m going to miss her at the family gatherings. My you be comforted at this time and find peace.
We are so sorry for your loss and please know our prayers and condolences are with you all in these hard times. May you find God’s grace sufficient for this sorrow. Nana was a very special lady to so many, including Garrett and Marissa.
Nana is amazing. She really was the kindest, strongest woman. She was always looking on the sunny side of things. She loved her grandkids with all her heart, and they are so lucky to have felt that love. We will miss you Nana. I am sorry to all her family that she is gone.
Deepest condolences to the Cluff family. We have lost a sweet lady with a lovely smile, may she Rest In Peace.
She left many wonderful memories that will be treasured by all those who knew her.
Sorry for the loss of Velvalee. Your wife, mother, grandmother & Ggrandmother was a wonderful lady. The Cluff’s were our next door neighbors when I was a young child. Wonderful family! My thoughts are prayers are with all of you. ?❤️?
So deeply saddened to hear of Velvalee’s passing. Such a sweet young lady as I knew her in High School–very happy, so friendly and a cheer leader for THS 🙂 Heaven recieved another angel!
“V” was one of best people I ever knew. Carolyn Cottam and I were her visiting teachers for a time. It was a treat to be in her lovely home, which was totally decorated for each season and occasion. She loved chocolate and made sure to serve it to us. When she called, the ringtone was a duck quacking and she would dial my number when I was nearby to hear it and chuckle. There is still of picture of Velvalee and her sister on my phone. I will always think about the Santa climbing the Christmas tree, the giant dolls on the front porch, the telephone in the wooden box, and a life well lived. See you later, my friend.
