Tenna Joan Corbitt, 90, passed away September 20, 2014 in Gilbert, Arizona. Funeral services are Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 11 AM, preceded by a visitation at 10 AM, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1005 N. Voyager Drive, Gilbert, Arizona. Interment is at the Green Acres Cemetery, 401 N. Hayden Road, Scottsdale, Arizona. Arrangements by Bunker’s Garden Chapel, 480-696-6883.
She was a Very Special Lady. We were roommates at AZ State Teachers College in Tempe in 1944. We have remained in touch with each other all these years. She was a great role model to me. We have had many lunches together plus went to the Mesa Temple together. She has had a wonderful life and family. She is happy where she is now, she will be with her Wonderful Husband Don, her son , her sister, and parents. My Sincere Sympathy to all of her family.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences. My heart goes out to your family. Death is something we will never get use to. In fact, God’s Word refers to death as an enemy. (1 Corinthians 15:26) Very soon our loving Heavenly Father, will remove death once and for all ( Rev 21:4) and give us the opportunity to see our loved ones again here on the earth. (Acts 24:15)
