Sandra Bigler

09/11/1963 - 02/10/2015
Service Date: 02/17/2015
Service Time: 11:00 AM
Service Location: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1415 E. Southern Ave, Mesa, Arizona
It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Sanda Bigler passed away on Feb. 10th due to complications from cancer. A Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM with Funeral Services at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 17th, 2015, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1415 E. Southern Ave in Mesa.
Sandie grew up an army brat and lived in several different places in the world, but her original home was always El Paso.  She moved to the Phoenix area in 1992 where she met her husband, LeRon Bigler, to whom she was sealed in the Mesa, Arizona Temple in 1994.  They have two sons, Donovan and Dallin.
Sandie was first diagnosed eight years ago with breast and cervical cancer.  She beat them both back, but over the years it slowly returned.  The last year of her life was especially hard on her, and eventually the cancer was simply growing faster than it could be managed.  She passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends, reuniting with her beloved mother on the other side.
Sandra was a talented writer and blogger.  She was a loving and devoted wife and mother and fought her illness courageously.  Despite her sufferings she never doubted God or her testimony of Christ.  She died a member in full faith and fellowship of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
We wish to thank the skillful and compassionate doctors and nurses at Banner Desert Medical Center for their kindness and care of Sandra over the years and for giving us more time with her.Sandra, you are missed more than words can say. We’ll miss your crazy sense of humor.  You’re a fantastic conversationalist.  Thank-you for being such a devoted mother and a truly wonderful companion to your husband.  You were never a burden, and our love for you will endure until the resurrection and beyond.  We’ll see you then.

I am sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in knowing that “Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18) With sympathy,

  • The Vasquez Family

We are sorry to hear about the passing of your loved one. Words don’t always ease the pain when you are grieving the death of a loved one, but we hope you will find hope in Jesus’ promise of the redirection hope (Acts 24:14) when he will rise up tho sleeping in death (John 11:11) restoring them back to life, on the renewed paradise( John 5:28,29; Luke 24:43) what a wonderful blessing to look forward too. Until then, may Jehovah God (Psalms 83:18) grant you peace and comfort during this grievous time. – Matthew 5:4.

  • Dear LeRon and family. We also are rejoicing in Sandra’s beautiful life. Even though we were separated by distance and time, Sandra was very well loved in El Paso.
