Robert (Bob) Leroy Dewey, 77, of Superior, Arizona passed away on July 7, 2024.

He was born in Phoenix, AZ. He is the son of Houston and Vivian Dewey of Phoenix, Arizona. He graduated from South Mountain High School in 1966 before joining the US Army. During his 20 years of military service, he served honorably in Vietnam earning 3 Bronze Service Stars.

Bob married the love of his life, Elizabeth “Beth” Halina, in 1979. They were devoted parents to their 3 sons:  Robert, Jason, and Adam; 5 grandchildren: Joshua, Kayla, Mariah, Gavin and Jaysie as well as his 7 great-grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by his loving wife, Beth. He is survived by his brothers, Kenneth and Michael.

After retiring from the Army, Bob and Beth, enjoyed traveling in their RV, crisscrossing the United States many times to enjoy the scenery, historic monuments, and stopping to fish. He enjoyed spending time with his children/ grandchildren. It was not uncommon to find him at one of the many activities that they participated in throughout the years. He also enjoyed working on his 1960 Impala.

Bob will be truly missed by all that were blessed to have him as a part of their lives.

Celebration of Life to be held Saturday, August 17, 2-4pm at Bunker Family Funeral 3529 E. University Drive, Mesa. Burial will be held Monday, August 19, 9:30am at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Cave Creek.

    We loved to have the whole crew come on weekends.
    But like all families you lose touch as we get older.
    I was lucky Bob and Beth stopped at our place in Arkansas a couple of times plugged in the RV and
    Spent the night. We had a great time going down memory lane.
    He will be missed I was blessed to get to spend time with him.
