Rex R Whitmer Jr passed away peacefully on May 25, 2022 at the Vesta House in Chandler AZ. Rex was born September 15, 1934 in St Johns Az. He was a loving husband, father and brother, a veteran of the Air Force, and worked in a variety of professions. Rex loved God, his children and his country. He loved to garden and raise animals. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and loved talking to people. His hobbies were writing stories and poetry. He is survived by Catherine Church, his wife of 60 years, eight of his ten children, his brother Lewis Whitmer, and many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by two of his children.
Funeral services are Saturday June 4th 2022 at 9am, preceded by a viewing at 8am. Location for the funeral and viewing will be at the Cullumber Ward chapel in Gilbert, Arizona, located at 220 E Cullumber Ave Gilbert AZ.
