What sweet memories I have of watching Phyllis grow up. Her parents were sweet friends of ours. My husband and her dad served together in the Air Force at several different bases. We became family. I love you and your family, Phyllis. Miss you!
Phyllis is like family to me. I’ve known her since birth. Our fathers served together in the Air Force in Japan. I always felt deeply loved by her When we were together even though I didn’t get to see her often. She was loved unconditionally And was compassionate to everyone she met. I will always love and miss her. What a privilege it was to know her!!!
Such a great loss in my life, truly a friend that I will miss. I enjoyed the many years we spent is the salon sharing and laughing at silly things that occurred in our lives. I am going to miss you terribly. Love and prayers to Greenlee family.?❤??
My heart is with you.
Our deepest condolences. The most generous and open hearted person has passed. My Mom in the US for many many years. She will be missed. All the strenght in the world for papa Jim, Jodie, Jill and the rest of the family.
I am sorry, that you left us dear Phyllis. Although we know you went to place where it good for and although we cannot comprehend that place, we’ll miss you.
Much strength for all of you and know that when a ship disappears behind the horizon, it is not gone it is there we only cannot see it.
There was never a better next door neighbor than you. Your big hugs, inclusive nature, and never-ending love will stay with me forever. My dad certainly will never forget the time you called the police on he and my mom. They both thought the world of you and Jim.
Dear Phyllis, although we know you went to place where it is good for you and that that place is somewhere we cannot comprehend, we still miss you. Much strength for all of you especially for papa Jim. But know that when a ship disappears behind behind the horizon and although you cannot see it is there. It is not gone.
I can’t put in to words the way that Nana Phyills and Papa Jim welcomed me into their home, from day one and ALWAYS made me feel like family! Of course after the 2nd visit I was calling them Mom and Dad from then on I was only 17 and they helped me in everyway parents could help a child they always gave me encouragement and Nana would give me pep talks and made me believe in myself!! They ment so much to me and my husband at the time we asked them to be our children’s God parents ❤️
I love you both Nana I will miss you so very much and I will see you again some day Dad I will always be here just like you have been for me! Thank you both
I am sorry to hear of Phyllis’ passing. She has always been so kind and caring to our family. She helped my father when his father passed and she helped us when my father passed. And she was filled with grace. My condolences to her family, friends and co workers.
I went to school with Phyllis in Itazuke, Japan in the 1960’s. She always had a kind and thoughtful word for everyone. I will miss her comments on Facebook. My deepest condolences to all of her family and loved ones.
My condolences to Jim, Jodi, Jill and all other family members. Phyllis was a neighbor of mine for many years and was a kind and loving person who always had a warm and welcoming smile. I know she will be missed by many and I feel fortunate to have known her. Rest in Peace Phyllis.
Prayers for the Greenlee family. I worked with Jim at Ramada and met Phyllis through him. She was always SO sweet and kind and we conversed on Facebook quite often. She will be missed – gone too soon, but heaven has a wonderful angel now.
Phyllis I was not aware of your passing, we crossed paths at least a couple times, Itazuke and Keesler Air Bases but became friends through fb. It was always such a pleasure to “chat” with you, that smile with your fb profile was enough to make my day. Looking forward to renewing our friendship somewhere down the road.
