Obituary
Patrick was born in Missouri Valley Iowa to Robert and Rosalie Sennett on August 24, 1958. The Sennett family moved to Arizona in 1963, due to Patrick’s health.
Patrick went to Edison Elementary, Kino Junior High and graduated from Westwood High School in 1976. Pat attended Mesa Community College and studied business. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1987 and received an honorable discharge. Patrick worked for Motorola, The City of Mesa, Best Buy and eventually hired on with the airport as a T.S.A. Agent. Patrick retired from T.S.A. after 22 years at the age of 62.
Patrick is preceded in death by both his parents, Robert and Rosalie, one sister, Monica Gutierrez, a brother-in-law, Russell King and one nephew, Robert Gutierrez.
Patrick is survived by one brother, Paul Sennett, three sisters Mary and Janet Sennett and Joan King. Patrick is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Patrick loved going to the casino and playing cards. His favorite was playing poker. He enjoyed holiday dinners with family and doing things with his coworkers.
Patrick was a simple man. He loved going out to eat, watching tv and talking. Patrick had a wicked dry sense of humor right up until the end of his life!
Patrick was a man who lived his life in black and white, he never saw any grey areas. He was a rule follower and had a strict moral compass. He appreciated people who had great personal integrity.
Patrick was a devout practicing Catholic for his entire life. He was sincere in his belief in God and was a good guy! Patrick passed after open heart surgery with complications of Diabetes.
Patrick’s funeral mass will be Saturday, June 13th at 1:00pm at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1244 S. Power Road, Mesa, Arizona. He will be buried with a private ceremony at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Mesa.
His family and friends will miss him, but we won’t say goodbye, simply until we meet again.
