Norman Eugene Lang

Norman Lang, age 77, of Mesa Arizona, passed away on December 9, 2016 in Mesa.

Memorial Service to be held in Mesa, Arizona at Good Life RV Resort (3403 East Main Street,Mesa AZ 85213) on Sunday Dec 18th from 12:30 to 2:00 pm in the main Ballroom.

Funeral Service will be held in Streeter, North Dakota. Burial Service will follow at  the Miller cemetery, South West of Streeter in June of 2017.

Norman was born in Jamestown to Edwin & Barbara (Miller) Lang on November 28, 1939.  He grew up on the family farm Southeast of Streeter, North Dakota.  Norman enjoyed duck hunting and went to school and graduated from Streeter High School.  Norman attended the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota.  In 1961, Norman married Tabitha Diede.  He worked as a bus driver for Greyhound Bus Line for 27 years.  Prior to Greyhound, Norman and Tabitha owned and operated Rolling Wheels Roller Rink in Streeter, North Dakota.  Norman served in the US Army from 1961 to 1963.  He volunteered for the Boy Scout of America, attended LIVINGWORD Bible Church and passionately participated in numerous billiard leagues.

Norman is preceded in death by his parents Edwin Lang and Barbara Lang.

Norman is survived by the mother of his children, Tabitha Lang, son Lyle and wife Lori Lang, daughter Christina and husband Chris Johnson, sister Marlys Lang-Banks and husband Billy Banks, Brother Kenneth Lang, grandchildren Madeleine, Alex and Olivia Lang, nephews Austin Lang, and Kievin Odero, and niece Shawna Andersen, grandnephews Karter Lang and Bodee Lang.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to The American Heart Association.  The family of Norman wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Mesa Emergency Responders, Dr. Beeston & the ER Staff of Banner Baywood Medical Center.
