Marilyn J. Marquez, passed away on August 15, 2019 in Phoenix, AZ. She was born to Jessie and Ercil Scott in Ardmore Oklahoma, in 1933.
She worked in the insurance industry for over 30 years in many capacities including insurance agent and underwriter.
Marilyn led a very happy, active life filled with family, musical friends, tap dancing with The Golden Girls and playing piano accompaniment for her musical group The Vintage Vocals.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband Angel Marquez and her son Curtis Sepulveda. She is survived by her daughter Marie, son in law Mark, her grandchildren Nathan, Rachael, Candice, Ross, Donna, Stephen, Joseph, Anthony and 11 great grandchildren.
She is also survived by her sister, Linda McKee, brothers Michael Scott and Gene Scott.
The funeral service will be held at 11am on Wednesday September 4, 2019 at Bunkers Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way, Mesa, AZ 85201. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Hospice of the Valley.
