Marie led a beautiful life filled with Compassion, Music and Love. Her greatest devotion was to her Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ and her Family.
Several months ago, Kathy and I had a wonderful visit with Uncle Kenneth and Aunt Marie in their home. What a treasure she was and will always be! I am so glad that I got to marry into this wonderful, talented and beautiful family. Thank you for the memories, the music and the love that she shared with us and our family. She will always have a special place in our hearts. My deepest love goes to Uncle Kenneth at this time and to all the members of their family.
She was a wonderful neighbor, teacher, example and friend. I will miss this beautiful lady.
Marie was always a kind and happy person to know. She played the violin beautifully. The whole family of Gilmore and Anna Jackson are remarkable and talented people and Marie was an outstanding credit to her parents and her own family. If the walls could talk what inspiring stories they would tell of the life of this inspiring woman. God bless her family.
There are a million memories that anyone who ever knew Marie could share. She had a gentle, all-seeing, all-caring way about her and while I sometimes saw her weary, I never saw her angry or judgemental. Never. Most of all, I am forever grateful for how she seemed to manage to be there at my own most crucial personal crossroads. I don’t know how, but she was there: years ago, while going through the temple with her daughter for her mission, she turned around and said exactly what I needed to hear, as though she could read my thoughts–I was going through a painful divorce at the time. She was there one of the last times I was with my mother in the Mesa temple, and she gathered members of her family together at a moment’s notice to provide music for my mother’s funeral. Her arrangement of “Be Still My Soul” was the most beautiful I’ve ever heard. I’m certain Mom heard it and rejoiced in the beauty of the music and wept with her love for the Noble family providing it. Mom loved the Nobles. I feel profoundly in debt to Marie Noble. It breaks my heart that I’m not in Mesa right now, but I know that she knows–because, somehow, she always does–how very much I love and miss her. My heart goes out to her family and the countless recipients who’ve been embraced in the warmth of Marie’s tireless service and loving heart. She was and is an angel. Oh, how you are loved, Marie!
I got to know the Noble family at a young age, even the Jacksons in Lakeside in the summer months at our cabin there. Kenneth (my mom’s 1st cousin) you married a jewel and have a great family. Six of the Noble clan sang at my grandmother’s (Sirrine) funeral. I regret not knowing about her passing sooner. She is providing beautiful music in the heavens now. May our Heavenly Father’s peace and love be with you always, Kenneth. Paul L. Hathcock.
