  • I am so sorry for your loss. I sure loved LaNae. She was always happy and kind and loved everyone. In high school LaNae, Crissy, Kayla and I did everything together. We had so much fun together. My favorite memory was when we went up to my grandparents cabin after we graduated high school. We had such a great time. I will cherish all the good memories of my sweet friend. She will be missed. Your family will be in my prayers.

Aunt LaNae holds a dear place in my heart. She won me over as a child with her cookie salad and kept me with her love and quick wit! Her sense of humor and facial expressions always put a smile on my face. Her joy and love were contagious and comforting. I’ll miss her dearly. I love all of you so much!

Sending love to the Nortons & Turleys… I’m sure we’re all relishing the memories….for me, our Haymore family trips to Nogales where sweet Aunt Elena & Uncle Ron welcomed us with open arms (and warm buttered homemade bread-yum Aunt Elena!!!) Oh the hours of dollhouse fun with LaNae–no doubt inspiring the dollhouse I later made for my little sisters, (and the wooden one for my Charis another decade later.) Then LaNae & I would head to the kitchen where LaNae taught me the unforgetable salsa & cream cheese dip, to scoop onto potato chips. Heaven on earth. Random trips to the Nogales, then Gilbert Turley homes, which were the coolest. Then cousin apartment buddies at EAC–THAT was heaven on earth-fun Sharla & kind LaNae-how blessed I was to be her roommate her freshman/my sophomore year–when she met & was getting to know Gregg. The respect & care they felt for each other–I knew he was dear to my cousin’s heart, and was grateful for those 9 months, to share in that special time, and then stand in their reception line in our lilac dresses :)….LaNae, as a roommate….always kind, loving, accepting of you-no matter what…listening, laughing… being around her was like having a comforter wrapped around you. You were in a safe space- always loved. What a gem. We loved Afterglow music and other gospel songs :)…. Wow… how many lives she has touched along the way, and will continue to touch from & on the other side. She will be so missed & so welcomed at the same time–I know her mission continues on, with lives to bless, including family & friends… temples to serve in, the kingdom of God-to build. Love my sweet cousin & forever friend…and her family…prayers & hugs!
