Condolences

  • Dear Wendy and family, I was so blessed to have a friendship with Kevin. All the years growing up together in the Mesa 4th ward, and then up through Carson Jr. high, Kevin and I played basketball together including some one-on-one hoops, (I stood-he soared). During our 9th grade Tennis team exploits we were practice partners (he was 1st or 2nd seed- I was 9th seed/exhibition). He was fluid in his movements, and just a tremendous skill athletically. And he was an even better friend. Exceedingly kind and thoughtful and loyal. I feel so very blessed to have known him. May you feel the love and prayers for your family. God bless you.

  • Wendy and Family,
I was shocked to hear from Lesa that Kevin had passed. I don’t think I actually have any childhood memories that go back before he and I knew each other. He was always a kind hearted loving individual and incredibly patient. I am not sure I ever saw him loose his cool. Even in all of those tense softball games he played and I watched-mostly. I remember a lot of cub-scout activities and playing heated games of chess at each others houses. We were always together for church meeting and activities. I can’t actually imagine my childhood or youth ever having been without him. I am truly sorry for your loss but I know that we all will meet him again because of our Savior Jesus Christ.
    With Love,
    David
