Karen Lynne Levi, 54 years young, passed away all too soon on November 17, 2009 surrounded by her family. She finally gets to meet her beautiful baby girl Shauna. She is survived and deeply missed by her parents W.C. and Vernetta Johnson, 2 children Christopher and Julianne, brother David and sister Kathleen, her best friend of 43 years Jean Rogers, many family and friends and her most prized grandchildren Jaydon and Jack. She was born October 23, 1955 in Japan. Her father was in the military and she traveled with him throughout her childhood until the age of 11 when she moved to Arizona. She was an elementary school teacher for 19 years until she was faced with kidney failure. She won the battle! She was the strongest woman you could ever know. Those who were close knew how much of a jokester she was and will never forget how she made them smile. She is deeply missed and she will never be forgotten. We love you so much Karen (Mommy)! Funeral services are Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009 at 12:30 preceded by a visitation at 11:30 at the LDS Peralta Ward, 2252 W. Mesquite in Chandler, AZ. Arrangements by Bunker’s Garden Chapel.
