Joseph Davis

Joseph E. Davis, 96, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather passed away July 1, 2009 in Mesa, AZ. He was born April 1, 1913 in Chandler, AZ, the fourth child of Wilford and Paralee Davis. He was married for 63 years to his sweetheart, Alice Scott who passed away in 1997. He was preceded in death by his parents and all of his siblings. He is survived by his children; Marvin (Wanda), Norman (Kris), John (Diana) and Carolyn (Lloyd) Payne, 18 grandchildren, 90 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at 11:00 AM preceded by a visitation at 10:00 AM at the LDS Mesa East Stake Center, 2228 E. Brown Rd. in Mesa. Arrangements by Bunker’s Garden Chapel.
