Jeffrey Steven Miller, beloved husband, father, brother, and Poppy, passed away in his home on September 23, 2022 in Mesa, Arizona.  Even at 75, Poppy remained intellectually curious and well read.  He loved teaching, loved movies and classic rock, and loved his Savior.  He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He led a life of service to family, dental patients, church, and community.  Poppy cherished being surrounded by family.  So much so that he was incapable of short trips to Costco, Home Depot, or anywhere else alone if he could help it!  Poppy will be missed by all.  But his legacy will be continued through his wife, Collett; sister, Carol; children, Kyla, Seth, Haya, David, Joshua, Esther, Jacob, and Aaron; and 19 grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel 3345 E. McLellan, Mesa, AZ 85213 at 10:00 am on Friday, September 30, 2022. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.

We had the opportunity to serve with Jeff and Collett as Church Service Missionaries. We saw firsthand their kindness, concern and support for individuals facing great personal challenges. Jeff was always so pleasant and had the ability to make the world brighter when he was around. Many people, including ourselves, have greatly been blessed from Jeff and Collett’s willingness to share their wisdom, talents, time and deep convictions of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We send our love and prayers to Collett and the Miller children during this very tender time.

Dear Collett and family, we are so sad and shocked to hear of Jeff’s passing. He was our faithful home teacher(and friend) for many years, always bringing one of his sons with him, and imparting a good message and making a point to get to know our children better and what was going on in their lives. He was brilliant and yet had a kind way that put you at ease, and had a fun sense of humor. He will be missed! All our love to you Collett and your beautiful family.❤️

I worked for Dr. Miller back in the 80’s. He was an excellent dentist and a kind man.
