Gina Marie O’Neal, 64, of Gilbert, Arizona, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021 with her children by her side. She was born in Springfield, IL on June 8, 1956 to James and Dolores Schnepp.

Gina was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved nothing more in life than her children, grandchildren, and documenting all the wonderful memories they made together.

Gina graduated from Mesa Community College in 1977 with her Associates Degree in Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse for over thirty years at Banner Desert Medical Center, formerly known as Desert Samaritan Hospital.

Gina is survived by her children Jennifer O’Neal Kuznicki and Michael O’Neal; her grandchildren Lilly, Maggie, Jackson, Gavin, Emily, Dimitri, and Natalia. She is survived by her parents James and Dolores Schnepp; brother John Schnepp; and sisters Kathy Skoglund, Julie Andersen, and Valerie Hepburn. She was preceded in death by her brother Michael Schnepp.

Viewing will be held Friday, June 4th, 1pm-3pm, at Bunker Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way, Mesa, AZ 85201. Services will be held Saturday, June 5th, 9am-10am at Bunker Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way, Mesa, AZ 85201, with a graveside prayer service at 10:30am at Mesa Cemetery, 1212 N. Center St, Mesa, AZ 85201.

    Sorry to hear of my friend and nursing coworker. I worked with Gina for most of 25 years until her accident, but we kept in touch. I was saddened to learn of her passing. Another angle walks the halls of our Lord and Savour.My prayers are with Ginas family. She will be missed .
