Geraldine McCuan

01/12/1936 - 12/22/2020

Geraldine “Gerry” Lee McCuan (84), a native and lifelong resident of the valley passed away 12/22/2020 in her home with her family gathered near. She is survived by 4 children Meredith “Hank”, Blaine, Connie, Sam and her sister Sarah. Gerry’s rich posterity numbers 58 with children, grand, great, and great-great grandchildren.

Gerry, born 01/12/1936 in Lehi, Arizona, leaves this earth to be reunited with her husband Dennis, son Kevin, son in law Tom, parents Alvira (Higgins) and Robert Lee and siblings Dorothy, Rodney, Milton, Eldred, Larry, Larryce, Norman and Robert.

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Gerry saw everyone as a child of God. She was dedicated to her children and worked tirelessly and found great joy in providing for her family. Gerry walked with faith, always knowing God would provide for her needs and in return dedicated herself to serving faithfully in many church callings and various humanitarian services. She had a gift to express love unconditionally and put others before herself.

Memorial Services (no viewing) will be held Thursday, December 31st @ 10:00am at the LDS Camelview Ward building, 3920 N 44th Place, Phoenix, AZ 85018. A virtual ZOOM link will be available. Please PM or contact a family member for more information.

  • We Loved her and all of you very much. Your in our prayers. Growing up with Connie gave me many opportunities to spend time with Aunt Gerry. She had recently in the last few years had reconnected. It was such fun catching up through her to hear all that was going on. She will be missed.

  • hello grandma. i love you. and i miss you alot, i think about you all the time as well, hwever i cant believe that you passed, even as I sit here and write this all i can think is that your still sitting on your bed watching tv while I try and feed you hot Cheetos, or me walking in while your sleeping and trying to be quiet grabbing something out of the pantry, or you walking in while i’m talking to my friends and saying hi to the one you liked most, im sorry i wasnt always the greatest grand daughter, and i’m sorry i’m still making mistakes but i love you so much more than anyone could ever think, love you 🙂

  • My grandma was the best. She always loved me threw all my mistakes. And she was a mother to my daughter myra when I couldn’t be.. I know she’s up in heaven where she belongs watching over us all. No one could have asked for a better grandmother..I love you grandma.

  • its been two years today. i love you so much, i still think about you everyday, i miss you. i will never forget you.
