George Nelson Berry, 89, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2020, in Mesa Arizona. George was born in Fresno, California, retired from the US Air Force and then was graduated from Arizona State University. George is survived by his daughters, Kimberly (Bryan) Schmidt, Melissa (Mark) Tompert and Becky Stallings, nine grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wives Mary Lee and Luella and son Greg Stallings. A funeral service will be held at Bunkers Mortuary, 33 N. Centennial Way, Mesa, AZ, on Friday, June 26, at 9am. There will be a viewing on Thursday, June 25, 6-8pm at the mortuary.

Our mother, Velma Williams, who passed away in 2002, was a close friend of his wife, Mary Lee, when they lived in Birchwood City, Maryland. We are so sorry for your loss. He is remembered by our family as being a gentle and kind man. May he rest in peace.
