Fred was an outstanding Latter-day Saint! His cheerful personality was well demonstrated during many priesthood meetings as he presented “Guess who this is?” short background information about one of the member brothers! They were packed with unknown facts and always ended with, “this is his favorite breakfast cereal! Every other sentence was highlighted with his marvelous laughter!!! When I was home from a stay at the hospital he and his sweet wife visited us with food and ran errands we needed—we will always remember this true friend!!

  • Margaret and family,Brent and I are both so sorry for your loss. We have fun memories of you both from our time in Mesa 18th Ward. We saw Fred about a year ago at Rumbi. Still the ever happy, fun loving guy. Our hearts go out to you all at this very difficult time. Much love, Brent and Chris Bird

I don’t even know where to start! Fred was such a good man! All around…. Good! His laugh was contagious, his sense of humor was on point, his faith was real and powerful. He welcomed me when we first met, and he felt like family!!!! He was and still is a ray of sunshine in my heart and in this world! I just know- that I hope to find someone like him to marry! He was an all around incredible human! And I know he will be looking after his family from heaven! Families ARE forever!
What a blessing he has been to all of us!
    Till we meet again!
