On November 5, 2023 we lost our dear precious son, Ethan Douglas Jun Sheldon to a rare genetic condition. He was a fighter through it all, but in the end lost the battle.
Ethan was born in China and came home to his adoptive family and home in July 2004.
Ethan graduated from Mountain View High School in 2021 where he excelled academically, played cello in orchestra, and was a stand-out participant in Model UN.
He was working for a company that does duct sealing and cleaning. He loved his job and co-workers and was talking about getting his own apartment someday soon. He was a brilliant, outgoing kid with a great smile and an engaging personality. He enjoyed being with friends and family, playing on-line video games, travel, and outdoors.
He will be forever missed and loved by his mom (Deb Sheldon), dad (Steve Sheldon), sister (Hannah Sheldon) and all of his family and friends.

Ethan was a good friend to myself and others in our online game community. He was always helping everyone and had a wonderful attitude. I’m really sorry to hear the news, and know his spirit will live on through all of us.
