Doris Mae Warren

03/24/1959 - 09/20/2022

Doris Mae Warren, born March 24, 1959 in Fort Ord, California was called home to the Lord on September 20, 2022. There she was rejoined with her son and many other loved ones. Left to carry on her tradition is her husband; Len Warren and two daughters (Sami and Kasi). Her legacy will also be carried for many years through her 11 grandchildren (Michael, Dakoyta, Joe, Daniel, Matthew, Jackson, Ellie, Sam, Leah, and Max) in addition to her close friends (of which there are many). As a faithful believer, she believed in people helping other people and lived her life this way. To say she changed the lives of others, is a mild statement to the impact her life had on others.  She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, working, cooking, bowling, learning to paint and most any other event that allowed her to interact with others. Her sweet soul brought many smiles and much joy to this world.  She had a voice that could fill a room and a laugh that was contagious.  It goes without saying that she is greatly loved and will be missed. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.

I was a coworker of Doris’s. I only had a few direct interactions with her but she was always kind, sweet, engaging, caring, inspiring, and dedicated to both Veterans and her coworkers. She always brought some sweetness and joy to my day. I will miss her very much.
I am thinking of her family and sending prayers for healing to all of you.

  • Prayers for comfort to all of her family.

  • We worked at the SE clinic together. I retired 3 years ago. But Doris was always a friend, I know she will be missed tremendously. Prayers for healing and grace for you and your family.

  • I met Doris when she started working for CRH; and I immediately was taken under her wing, she was a blessing to get to know her, as I looked forward to every interaction I had with Doris, no matter how we felt at the beginning of a conversation, we always ended it with laughter. My heart goes out to her family to have to say good-bye to a true angel. She will continue to protect and love everyone of us in her own special way.
    God Bless,
    Tracy

  • What a beautiful soul. She truly would give her all for everybody. She was strong and determined to see things done right. She definitely carried a spirit of light. To know her was to love her. I am happy for her to be in the presence of Jesus but saddened for her family, friends, and those who won’t get the opportunity to meet her here.

  • I met Doris at our place of employment. She had such a great laugh and smile, and always went out of her way to help others. She would just light up when she would see my therapy dog and was very kind to both of us. She will be missed by many people. My heart goes out to her loved ones and family members.

  • Doris will always hold a special place in our hearts. She was my “sister from another mister”. She is an amazing friend who has always been a guiding light on my family’s and my path in life. Her sense of humor, quick-witttedness, kindness towards others, and compassion to be the difference in someone’s life will be greatly missed. We love you and will continue to be here for your family and carry on the compassion you had to help so many. 💜🇺🇸🐾

  • I didn’t work directly with Doris but did get the pleasure of interacting with her often while working at SE in the dental clinic. She was always kind and optimistic, and was always smiling. I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to have known Doris. We all enjoyed visiting with her when she would stop by and check in on us. Prayers for peace and comfort for her family at this time
