  Dora Vilate McCulla of Mesa, AZ passed away on December 14, 2018 at the age of 96.  She was born August 3, 1922 in Heber, AZ to Jared and Lucy Porter.  Her family eventually moved to Mesa, AZ where she graduated from Mesa Union High School in 1940.  Dora married the love of her life, Veryl C McCulla, on December 18, 1943.  Dora’s leadership skills and compassion for helping others was evident in her active role with Mahnah Club in the mid-late 60’s; served as past president of American Business Women’s Association; as a Mary Kay Lead Consultant; and as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. 

  She is preceded in death by her husband, Veryl C McCulla in 1980; her two sisters (Thelma and Elsie) and her two brothers (Vernon and Richard).  She is survived by her three sons; Gary (Cynthia) of Mesa, AZ; Ronald (Jo) of Cashton, WI; and Donald (Kathy) of Mesa, AZ.  She is also survived by 8 beautiful grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 3 great great-grandchildren whom she loved and adored.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM and Funeral service December 21, 2018 at 10:00 AM at  Bunker’s University Chapel, 3529 E. University Drive, Mesa, AZ 85213.  Interment at Mesa City Cemetery, 1212 N. Center St. in Mesa.
