Dennis Mitchell McCuan. 77, born Dec 7, 1942.  He was called home Sept 10, 2019. There to meet him were his parents Norma Bloom McCuan and Russell McCuan.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 42 years, Geraldine “Gerry” Lee McCuan and 5 children, which have given him a rich posterity of 51, grand, great-grand and great great grandchildren. As well as his sister Pamela Bettis her husband Larry and their four children.

Dennis was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho and has lived in Arizona for 45. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to Chile, South America and graduated from BYU. Dennis is a Vietnam Army Veteran. He retired from the Creighton School District. Dennis’s love for traveling took him to all 50 states. Dennis was an avid reader with a love for history.

A memorial service will be held to honor Dennis Thursday, September 19th at 10 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints,  3920 N 44thPlace, Phoenix, AZ 85018.

    I am sad to hear of Dennis’s passing. He had a soft and gentle spirit. I am sure there was a reunion in Heaven with his loved ones. It will be wonderful to see him again oneday. Love to you Gerry. Thankyou for loving him. Life is much more fun when it is shared with someone we love.

  • I had made the last reply on your passing, but I have been thinking of you. I cannot overstate how much I loved you! I remember when we use to see one another in Pocatello. In 1959 we use to go hiking down in a canyon you had named “Greylock”. We caught lizzards together and had a great time. Gerry, I hope you are still well.
