Dave C. McInelly

Dave C. McInelly, 69, died Sunday, July 11, 2010 in Mesa, AZ. He was born Nov. 7, 1940 in Escalante, UT to Twila and Arthur McInelly. Those who remain to miss him are his loving wife whom he was deeply devoted to for over 50 years, Yoland Porter McInelly; sons David Shane (Dawn), Derrick (Elizabeth), Jarrod (Celeste); daughters; Jody (Kay) Brooks, Andrea (Dale) Rogers, Krystal (Chad) Porter, Amy (Denver) Wilkins, and 28 grandchildren that will cherish their memories of him. Also, his 98 year old mother, Twila McInelly of Escalante, UT, brothers; Wells, Chan, and Kent; sisters; Myrna Watts, Mary Davis, Judy Griffin and Grena Kay Searle. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur E. McInelly, brother A.J. McInelly and sister-in-law, Betty McInelly. Dave was a hard worker and worked as a block mason, eventually running his own company, Lehi Masonry. His greatest love was being with family and friends – joking around and enjoying a good laugh. He loved the outdoors; hunting, fishing, and camping. Mule rides and pack trips were activities he enjoyed as well. He committed himself to scouting and helping the youth. He enjoyed the challenge of beating his opponent in a game of cards. Visitation will be Thursday, July 15, 2010 from 6-8 PM at Bunker’s Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way, Mesa. Services will be at the LDS chapel on the corner of Horne & Lehi Road in Mesa with a viewing at 9 AM, followed by services at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at the Escalante Cemetery in Escalante, UT on Monday, July 19, 2010.
