Clint Russell Bailey, age 50, passed away on September 7th, 2021, in Gilbert, Arizona, after a mighty and courageous battle with COVID.

Clint was born on January 15th, 1971, in Richland, Washington, to K and Lynda Bailey. He was the father of three children who he loved and adored: Isaac, Quinn, and Madelyn. He graduated from Jerome High School in Jerome, Idaho, and later earned a Masters of Psychology with an emphasis on Education from St Martens University in Lacey, Washington. Bailey Family….as a high school classmate and teammate with Clint (Big Red) I give my deepest condolences. His obituary is well done and represents the Clint I knew many years ago. He is a loving man and always willing to help out when needed. Far to early to see him graduate from this life, but I’m convinced he must be needed on the other side. Sincerest condolences.

  • I got to know Clint and became friends with him almost 2 years ago. We met at work and quickly hit it off. He was awesome and caring friend and he will be dearly missed.

  • I’m saddened to hear about Clints death my son Marshall and Isaac played basketball together at highland great times cheering for
our boys those were the best of times a dynamic man Clint was but always a gentlemen will be missed.

  • I don’t know how many of you knew, but Clint had an extended family at Ricks College as well. 🙂 He befriended many of us from the Pacific Islands and from the East Coast. Clint fit right in with our group of friends as he was not only big in size, but he had a big heart. He was a red-head Polynesian! As young adults all away from home for the first time, we had to rely on our Ricks family for survival. When he would go home for the weekends, many times Clint would come back bringing us groceries, or proudly bring fresh milk from their Jerome dairy. He loved to dance, R&B music, Polynesian food, was a little on the shy side but loved to joke and laugh. He spoiled us girls by leaving us his awesome Volvo to use when he would leave on away games. We used to call his car the Mafia Princess. 🙂 We all LOVED that car! And he knew it, so he willingly gave when we would ask. Clint was a loving, kind, and selfless person. Thank you to his family for raising such a loving soul. My deepest condolences to his dear family. You will be missed Clint; until we meet again my friend. Ia manuia lou malaga. (Have a blessed journey back home). Aloha….

I have so many memories with Clint!
Riding carnival rides, cheering for him at games!
Lots of laughs, and he will be so missed!

  • Though Clint was two years younger than me in High School, I considered him a good friend. We went to the same church / ward and would play ‘paint ball’ as his house every Sunday followed by lots of pizza. Clint made varsity basketball when he was a Sophomore and earned a starting position. He ‘towered’ over everyone older than him.

I just found out about Clint’s passing this very moment. The world was a better place with him in it.
