Carmen Cecilia Figueroa

Carmen Figueroa, 90, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2014 in Tempe, Arizona. She worked as a bank teller at Continental Bank and a Secretary at Safeco Insurance for many years. After her retirement she did volunteer work for St. Vincent de Paul and Mission of Mercy. Her hobby was making quilts. She is survived by her daughter, Carmen Carrizosa, son, Paul, sisters, Mary Pablos and Estella Jacobo, grandchildren, Angela & Michael Carrizosa, a great-grandchild, Adrianna Carrizosa and many nieces & nephews. A visitation and rosary will be held from 6-8pm, Monday, July 14, 2014 at Bunker’s University Chapel, 3529 E. University Dr, in Mesa. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, July 15 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 141 N. Macdonald in Mesa. Burial will follow services at St Francis Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of the Valley.
