  • Pat Mills (Cruise)

So very sorry. Carl was my first playmate and continured to be my friend as we grew up. We reconnected on Facebook and talked about our childhood often. Rest in Peace my next door neighbor.

  • Jodi and family, I was saddened to hear of his passing! I was lucky to count him as a dear friend. A couple of my kids were also lucky to have a close relationship with Carl as well through first ministering to him, and then by having him minister to my family. He touched so many lives. Think of all those students that had him as a teacher and how he has shaped their lives. Think of his countless hours spent in service of others. I admit to signing up for cleaning, just to spend time with him as he was always there cleaning the church. We would swap back issues, often ending up in softer seats to allow us to get through the meetings. I will miss him dearly.

  • Michael and Mary Clark

How blessed we have been to serve with the two of you in the temple. Carl was so tender with whomever he was serving. His dedicated example is one we will remember and cherish forever. I think he will still be with our Friday Family.

  • Very very sad to hear of his passing. He was my 8th grade math teacher and he was the only teacher I ever had who genuinely cared about me as a person. I was a failing student who had almost no potential but he saw potential in me when nobody else did. He took extra time everyday to help me with my homework and make sure I was okay and made sure I passed with flying colors when I wouldn’t have been able to do it on my own. He refused to give up on me no matter what and chose me as the student of the year even if I didn’t deserve it. I will always remember this man as the only person who ever believed in me and it hurts my heart to see he passed. I wish I reached out sooner to tell him thank you and let him know how I was doing. God bless and Rest In Peace Mr. Allred.
