Bracken was in our Mesa 5th Ward and a fun guy to know. When he was Sunday School President, he checked on every class to make sure teacher was there and everyone was okay. I was teaching the Family History Class, and he checked in every week to see if I needed anything. That was thoughtful and kind. We will miss him!

  • Bracken lived across the street on Garnet from us for years. I have many happy memories of him. Bracken was a bit of a legend in the neighborhood , no heck in the County. So many fun memories of him from little league, church softball and of course neighborhood shenanigans that he was always involved in that bring a smile to my face. May the Lord bless the Sevey family during this sad time with happy memories of Bracken. Thank heavens for the Gospel and the Peace it brings do us. Bracken was an unique one of a kind guy who will be missed by many. The Grover Family send it love to the Sevey’s!!

Bracken, was a great person. We worked together at the Sheriff’s Office nearly 20 years ago. Bracken served both as an explorer and as a reserve. As a teen age explorer Bracken knew the job better than most full time Deputies. He loved serving the community. He worked almost every weekend or off day that he could. I saw him more than any other volunteer in our office. He always brought a positive attitude and a sense of humor to work with him. It was nearly impossible to be around him and not smile. Bracken made this world a better place for all that he encountered. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

  • Bracken was very inspirational at the LDS ARP program. He will be missed. He did a lot of service work for ARP. My condolences.
