Ana Leticia Bran passed away peacefully at the age of 75 surrounded by her family on October 29th, 2023, in Mesa, Arizona. She was born February 20th, 1948, in Santa Elena, Usulután, El Salvador, daughter of Juan Jose Bran and Graciela Olimpia Romero. She was the oldest of ten children, and the matriarch of her family.

After losing her mom at a young age, she immigrated to the United States in 1974. She established a new life and opportunities for her family in Los Angeles, California, where she worked as a housekeeper. In California, Ana enjoyed taking her family to Griffith Park to barbecue; the activity later became a fond memory they all shared. In 1991, Ana and her two children made the move to Phoenix, Arizona. In 1997, she accomplished the American Dream and purchased her home in Mesa, Arizona, where she lived the rest of her life. In Mesa, she became a grandmother to seven grandchildren, whom she helped raise as her own.

She is survived by her two children, Miguel and Carmen, her seven grandchildren, Miguel Angel (Mickey), Luis, Kiara, Joseph, Ana, Matthew, and Marcelo. She was predeceased by her parents, Papa Juan and Mama Chela, as well as her younger brother Mario.

Visitation and funeral services will be held on Friday, November 3rd, 2023, at Bunkers Family Chapel in Mesa, Arizona (33 N. Centennial Way, Mesa, AZ 85201).

Visitation: 10AM – 12:30PM

Funeral: 12:30PM – 1:30PM

Graveside: 2PM at Mesa Cemetery (1212 N. Center St, Mesa, Arizona 85201)
