Rosa Maria A. Russell, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2015 in Mesa, Arizona. She was born to Jose and Rosa Maria Avila in Cuidad Juarez, Mexico. Rosa Maria led a very happy, active life filled with family and friends, and was actively involved with the LDS church. She was known for her cooking, especially her salsa. She enjoyed her grandchildren to the fullest.
She is survived by Richard (son), Zoe (daughter-in-law), her 2 precious grandchildren; Rachel and Richard, her brother Frank Avila and her sisters Elvira Ortega and Mary Caballero, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Jose and Rosa Maria Avila, her husband Richard, and brother Eduardo Avila. She will be missed.
There will be a viewing on Thursday, March 26th from 6-8pm at Bunker’s Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way, Mesa. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 27, 2015 at 10 AM, preceded by a visitation at 9 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 711 S. Evergreen in Tempe.

Las cosas anteriores han pasado”
Aquí leemos la promesa de Dios que pronto todo el sufrimiento incluyendo la muerte será eliminado para siempre y tendremos la esperanza de volver a ver a nuestros seres queridos que han muerto (Juan5:28,29)
