I wish to express my gratitude to a great man that I came to know. Rick was there for me on several occasions to provide words of wisdom and support. He definitely was a very caring person. I loved the way he was always so proud to speak about his family and especially all his wonderful grandchildren. Rick, I will miss you. My condolences to the Jones family. I pray that you will find peace.

  • I am deeply saddened by our loss of a friend, who shared so much of himself. It was evident that he cared so much for the community and his family. At almost every time that we met, Rick would proudly talk about his family and grandkids. I can still see the pictures that he would show me. We will miss you. Leonardo Loo – CPLC Board Chair.

  • Rick all of us who have come to know you were forever touched by your wisdom and kindness. You will be missed by all your family at CPLC. May you rest in peace. My condolences to the entire family.

  • Though he was short in stature, Rick–(Bishop Jones) was a mighty man. I was never around him that I didn’t feel better after our time together. Serving together was a joy. I loved to get in his car (to go to youth camps, etc.) when we had nothing to focus on but the great lives he and I were each living. I am so glad I had a chance to serve with him in his church assignments. It gave me an opportunity to experience what a man of Christ looks and acts like. He wasn’t judgemental and sought to only do the things he knew were right. I hope to be like Rick someday. I miss you Rick; knowing you are no longer with us! Condolences and prayers to Carol and the family. These are all great people and loving friends who deserve the best! Thanks for sharing Rick with us when we lived nearby.

Rest In Peace Ricky although it’s been many years since I’ve seen you you always are in my heart growing up together family gatherings I have fond memories of you. God bless your family and friends

  • I’m very sorry for your loss, and I wanted to share a scripture with your family to bring you some comfort. In John 11:25 Jesus said “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life.” I hope you can draw some hope and strength from this verse.

  • I’ve been at a loss to find any words that would express how I feel. Rick, you were a mentor. You took time to explain and teach me this business. You had patience and your gentle guidance allowed me to grasp information that I never had a capacity to understand. It simply is not the same coming to work and not seeing your car parked in its usual spot. I miss you tremendously. Thank you for all you’ve done. We may have kidded you a time or two about your height, but you were a giant in our industry, in our community and in the lives you touched. Your presence heaven makes it a better place.

  • I was very sad to hear about Rick’s passing. I will keep the Jones Family in my thoughts and prayers.

  • Our thoughts and prayers go out to Rick Jones’ family during this very difficult time. I worked with Rick for years and we will all miss him but we take comfort knowing that he is in a better place.

  • I am very sadden to hear of Rick’s passing. I have a great deal of respect and admiration for the kind heart that Rick often demonstrated. He talked to me once about having the correct core value and from that, the right decisions would flow. His feedback resonated with me a great deal and was grateful for his wisdom. His core values were based on his faith which is something that was very transparent to me. Rick told me a wonderful story about Carol getting a puppy and saying to him that the puppy had followed her home. He said there was no way he would ever say no to a puppy like that. Want to wish Rick’s family my sympathy and prayers in this time. Alex Varela CPLC Board

  • Ricky is my cousin, I remember him growing up, looking up to him and wanting him to want to hang out with me, he meant a lot to me as a boy, we grew up and went our own ways and havent seen him since we were young. I have been seeing my Aunt his mother Peral, taking her shopping and banking, she always talked about how he would call and write, when her hearing got too bad. I always thought his mom would pass and he would come and take care of things for her and I could see him again. I as well as him mom and family are shocked at the news, but knowing God has his will is part of life, belief and acceptance. Peral said “I always thought God would take me first, but i guess Ricky was needed, I guess I’ll just have to wait”
A good man will be missed! see you again cuz!

  • Phyllis Senseman

Rick you continue to be in my heart and on my mind. I appreciated you and admired your caring for your family, community and those you worked with. You had high ethics and strong morale character. I am sure you are orchestrating something in heaven. Thank you for helping me work on new projects and providing me with opportunities to grow.
