Condolences

  • I am sincerely sorry to hear about your loss. I worked with Pete for ten years and I always respected him. He is one of the people who truly made a difference in my life. He was my Configuration mentor, in a time when mentors were few and far between. He was always generous with his knowledge, and fair in his interactions. His sense of humor got us through many work days. My favorite work days were “Bring your Daughter to Work”. I loved it when Velika would be in the office. My husband Dan and I send our deepest regrets to your family.

  • I can’t even tell you how many years I worked with Pete, it was many! He was always such a dear friend. We would talk cars, engines and guns. When our department became PA427 it was Pete and I instantly thinking, oh yes we are 427; that happens to be a big block chevy engine. We were also sharing all the time, who went target shooting and where. As Pat was saying, we all enjoyed when Pete brought in Velika for “Bring your Daughter to Work” day; that was always such a treat to see her with her Dad. Pete would always bring in the most beautiful Christmas decorations for everyone that he and Virnell had made; I still have some hanging in my office. One year he brought in the Christmas tree made out of baby food jars for me, I was so excited and I just love it. I will truly miss our dear friend and you have my deepest sympathy to your family.

  • To Mr. Wright’s family, I’m very sorry for your loss, and I wanted to offer you some comfort that I’ve found in the Bible. Isaiah 25:8 says “God will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.” I hope this promise that soon God will do away with death brings you some comfort and strength as you cherish the memories of your loved one.
