Condolences

  • I MET FRANCE’S BROTHER , BOB FEBRUARY OF ’90. SHORTLY AFTER, I STARTED TO MEET THE RELATIVES. CHRISTMAS OF ’90, BILL AND FRANCES HAD THEIR ANNUAL GRAND CHILDREN CHRISTMAS @ THEIR HOME. IT WAS SUCH A NICE TIME. THEY WERE SO DOWN TO EARTH LIKE BOB. THROUGHOUT THE YEARS WE SAW BILL AND FRANCES AT FAMILY FUNCTIONS, LUNCHES @ TOM’S, AND VISITS THEY MADE TO SUNFLOWER. I REMEMBER ONE VISIT. FRANCES WAS USING HER WALKER. WE SET FRANCES DOWN IN A CHAIR IN THE FRONT YARD. BOB PROBABLY HAD BILL OCCUPIED PICKING SOME FRUIT N VEGGIES TO TAKE HOME W/THEM. I WAS NOT CLOSE TO WHERE FRANCES WAS SETTING @ THE TIME OF FRANCES AND “CARROTS” ENCOUNTER. PEAS N CARROTS, OUR 70# SULCATA TURTLES USE TO ROAM THE YARD. I’M SURE CARROTS NOTICED FRANCES THE MINUTE SHE SAT DOWN W/”FOOD” ON HER MIND. I DON’T THINK FRANCES NOTICED CARROTS HEADING TOWARDS HER UNTIL CARROTS WAS JUST A FEW FEET AWAY. I JUST HAPPENED TO LOOK UP AND SAW FRANCES GRAB HER WALKER AND IF IT WAS TIMED, FRANCES HAD MADE IT FROM THE CHAIR TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE YARD IN RECORD BREAKING TIME. I THINK I MENTIONED TO BILL HE COULD BORROW CARROTS AND BRING HER HOME TO KEEP FRANCES “A HOPPING”. WE HAD A GREAT VISIT THAT DAY. FRANCES, I WILL CHERISH MY TALKS W/YOU THESE PAST FEW MONTHS. I WILL MISS YOUR SMILES AND LAUGHTER, WHAT A FINE LADY. SAY HI TO BOB … MISS N LUV YOU BOTH … YOUR SISTER-IN-LAW

  • My condolences to the entire Hill family~~May she Rest in Peace~~

  • Your Angel has taken flight. ♡ Take comfort Jerry and Larry.
