Jan was my sister-in-law and a real sweetheart. You couldn’t ever see her without getting a wonderful hug. Jan was one if those people that made you feel as if you were friends for a lifetime even if you had just met her. She was the love of my brother’s life, a wonderful mother and grandmother. She will be truly missed.

    To Bill and family
So deeply sorry for your loss. I worked with Jan throughout the years and was the fortunate recipient of one of her cross stitched Christmas tree ornaments that will adorn my tree this year with renewed meaning. Jan made rumballs at Christmas and brought some to work to share. Clearly our afternoon at work was made So much more fun (and giggly) than ever b4. Jan was kind, thoughtful and very hard working. She loved her family and adored her husband. RIP old friend.

Aunt Jan was the most beautiful person inside and out , her smile and laugh would light up the room!! My love for cross stitch is because of the beautiful things she made our family and others. I know she will be watching over us in heaven, we love you!!!

  • David, Jen, and the girls

Jan was a wonderful woman and will be missed by everyone whose lives she touched. Our family was lucky enough to receive some of her extraordinary cross stitching pieces, and we will treasure them always. Love you Aunt Jan. May you Rest In Peace.

  • Jan was a wonderful lady who will be greatly missed. I remember being the new doctor at the office and she was able to teach me everything I needed to know about how the office and insurance worked. She made two beautiful cross stitch keepsakes for me when my children were born and she was always able to make me laugh. I will always remember her singing along to the radio at work, her fashionable glasses collection, and her sharing stories about her life with us.

We were fortunate to be neighbors in Germany with Bill, Jan and the kids. Our kids are the same age and we have such fond memories of our four years there.Jan was a beautiful person inside and out. Such a privilege to have her as a friend and a support as we both were military wives and kept each other company during the long rainy and snowy winters in Germany. She had a caring heart and beautiful spirit and will be deeply missed by all lives she touched. Our love to Bill, Shannon and BJ. Heaven has truly gained another Angel. God Bless, Pat, Ed, John ad Kelly and families.”When you come to the edge of all the light you have known and are about to step into the darkness, FAITH is knowing one of two things will happen…There will be something to stand on or you will be taught how to fly”. You are free, my friend.

I can’t express how sad it makes me that my aunt is no longer with us. She was so amazing to be around. There are so many memories I have with her with making jello eggs, going shopping, learning to cross stitch and just seeing her and my Uncle Bill dance at our wedding. My most favorite moment was when I had finally completed my first cross stitch piece that she had been helping me with. I was so happy to finally finish it but when I framed it and gave it to her she gave me the biggest hug and she said how much she loved it…
I’m so sad to see you go Aunt Jan but I’m Happy that you are no longer in pain.
    Until we meet again,
    Love you

  • I’m very sorry for your loss, and I wanted to offer you some comfort that I’ve found in the Bible. Isaiah 25:8 says “God will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.” I hope this verse brings you some comfort in this hard time.
