Condolences

  • See you in Heaven one of these days, Jimmy. To Nancy and all the family I love you.

  • Rest in peace Mr. Johnson

  • I have been blessed to have many special uncles who have had a heavy influence throughout my life. None more so than this man! Jimmy to most, Jimbo to many, and BoBo to me. He had the toughness that all of Lonnie’s boys did and the loving gentleness of my dear sweet grandma. He was such a dear and special person that I’m struggling to put into words what BoBo meant to me. I’m very thankful that he was in my life and even perhaps more thankful that I got to have a few hours alone with him as we drove back from Canton recently and talked about everything from the pain of head and neck radiation, to Amarillo weather (almost as painful), to how we shared a propensity to dish out nicknames to anyone and everyone. It is an honor to share his name, all the way from Jimmy to now I’m affectionately known as BoBo. He will always live in my spirit and heart. May God rest his soul and comfort the hearts of his wife, boys & wives and his grandchildren. He was a special man with a special kind of sweet spirit.
