    Donna and Family,
We have all lost a great man from our mortal lives. I find joy in the memory of him and you family in Huntingon as we joined the church. Your guidance and kindnesses will forever be in my heart. With love, I share in your sadness. Sandy

  • George is the best father-in-law a girl could have! He really cared for his family, especially his children. He always made me laugh. I will always remember how he fussed over Donna taking care of herself and how he loved to talk sports with Ryan. He was a great example of loyalty and love. He is sorely missed already.

  • I sure do miss you gramps! There isn’t a second that goes by that I don’t sit here and think about all the good times we had. Which was all the time! Yeah you were grumpy sometimes but we wouldnt have wanted you any other way! You definitely are a amazing MAN. Grandma and your children are so lucky to have so many great memories with their father. You were the glue that held our family together. I’m not just saying this because you are my grandpa.. I honestly have never been around or had a great male figure in my life. And that you definitely are. You and grandmas love and loyalty for eachother makes me feel so good inside that maybe one day I can find that also. Prayers and hugs to all my family I can’t come out and see. Love you All! Rest in Heaven with uncle Randy and NoMoe Gramps.. See you again!

  • We feel so blessed to have met such a beautiful man.

  • Where do I begin,…..George has been a part of my life since I was 21!!! So many memories of him! He was a good man, very easy to talk to but just as blunt and upfront! If you didn’t want to hear the truth,…..then you were better off not asking for George’s opinion!!😉 One of the many things I liked about him!
He was a family man! Everyone knew how he loved his wife and family!!,….he showed it everyday!!
He was a BIG Chicago Cub fan!! Ahhhh those teasy back and forth conversations with him and Randy!! Lol
I remember them as clearly as I wish I could hear them again!!
I never got to see him as often as I would have liked after he moved to Arizona! I sure enjoyed our conversations!!! But I am at peace with him! He knew that I loved him and his family!!
George leaves behind his greatest mark on life,…..his children!! To know them and see what kind of people they are,…..is a tribute to George and Donna!! It is truly Awesomeness in its purist form!!

  • Our Condolences to George’s family. Sorry for your loss.

  • Janet Yoder McDonald

So sorry to hear of George’s passing. He was a great husband, father and priesthood holder. He will missed by all. May you all comforted by knowing you will all meet again.

  • I remember one time when I was very young. George liked teasing kids. At one of the churches pot luck dinners he tried getting me to eat the frog eyes (tapioca pudding), telling me how good they are. I was totally grossed out! The McIntyre’s have fond memories of the Myers family and our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

  • Donna and family……. we send our love and heartfelt sympathies. How well we understand the pain of loss and grief you are experiencing. We pray for your comfort and to know that the Lord is with you and will wrap his loving arms around each of you. Donna, you and George have been an important part of our lives as we came into the church many years ago. Your love and friendship is that of a lifetime and treasured beyond. George and Larry clicked in friendship not only in the church but through their love of the beloved”Cubbies” and basketball. Wow, what memories of the basketball years. Then that would take us into the “Elephant Ear” years. Times not to be forgotten or the important role he played as well as the bonding friendships. George was always a man of integrity, love, and dependability. He was a man of home and family loving each especially his eternal sweetheart, Donna. George was honest and true to the point, a loyal Priesthood holder, a godly man, a man whom will be missed here on this earth during our mortal journey. The joy he must feel at this time to be free of his cancerous body basking in the light and love of our eternal God awaiting the time he and his family will be
together…….forever. We share in your pains of loss and grief and send you our love. Larry Arnold Family

  • My dearest aunt Donna and all my cousins. I am so sorry for your loss! My first thought was, I wonder if grandma came to greet him? My second was when I use to be scared of him when we were young, how funny to think he was actually such a pussy cat. I’m so thankful for those days and the memories of having that time together as family. I’m so thankful for being able to reconnect and the conversations with uncle George. He thought the world of each and everyone of you. And loved you aunt Donna dearly. All my love to each of you. I pray for peace and comfort for all.

  • I worked with George at Magnetek/Triad-Utrad in Huntington, IN I will never forget all of the fond memories I have of working under George from 1986-1997. My condolences go out to the family in your time of sorrow. R.I.P. George!!!

  • Donna, we were so surprised to hear about George’s passing. I will always have fond memories of the time we spent together at George’s first job at Marsh’s and the good times we had. At our last reunion, it was fun to relive the memory of the time that Ray and George and I saw the spaceship. May he rest in peace and all your family be comforted.

  • Dad,
i can’t believe you are gone. There is a hole in my heart never to be filled. You lived an exemplary life of love for your family and love for our Father in Heaven. You put everyone else first! You have left your mortal body and now are free from pain and suffering. I know you are engaged in our Father’s work on the other side. Heaven has gained a valiant warrior. I imagine the reunion between you and Randy as well as the other loved ones gone before. What a glorious thought!! We here on earth will continue to toil together in your honor until we meet again!
