We were so sorry to hear about Gary. We had so much fun in the Ammon 3rd Ward. We will never forget the phone call Gary made to our home in the middle of the night to inform us of a skunk in our window well. Of course, there was not a skunk; he always had such a good sense of humor. We love your whole family and our prayers are with you. Sandra and Dick Bybee

  • I remember Gary best as my deacons quorum advisor. One Sunday I was passing the sacrament and banged the bread tray against a pew.,,.bread went everywhere. There was an instant of panic and then Gary was right there beside me picking up bread, quietly putting it in his suit pockets and telling me, “you’re fine. I’ll take care of this. You keep passing.” I loved that man! My heart goes out you Connie, Mark, Cristi and the rest of the family.

We are so sorry for your loss. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. I think we both made the move from idaho to Arizona about the same time. And then I sang in a stake choir with you, Connie. You’ve had a wonderful, full life and will be together for the eternities.

Connie! We were sitting here thinking about Gary and how close we were when you guys lived in Id. Falls. Gary was very much involved and was the one who suggested that we build the home in Ammon that was right behind your home. We have many wonderful memories of you and Gary as the best friends and neighbors ever. He and I were tagging moose up near Island Park when we got the call from Pat that the Social Service had called and had another baby for us. That was the day we got Dustin 38 years ago.

  • Marydell Easley Andrews Easley

Oh, what precious memories we have of Gary & your family. Our kids grew up together in the same neighborhood before you left Ammon, ID. He was our Bishop during our rough times – what a deal that was! Much love from our family to yours. He was a wonderful man – such a great friend and example to so many.

  • Lynn and Kathy Goldman

We so loved Gary and his family. I will always remember working with the youth with Gary and his council as he served as the Bishop in the 8th Ward. I will always remember fishing at Ririe Reservoir when he came up to me as a fish and game officer. He called me Brother Goldman. We chatted for a short time and he went to the next guy and asked for his licence. After he left I checked and found I’d left mine home. I quickly went home. We will miss him. He was and great man, father, friend, and leader. Love Goldmans
