Condolences

  • Dear Becky and Family,

I am so very sorry to hear about Floyd’s passing. I wish so much I would have known about the funeral service previously so I could have attended. I consider Floyd and Becky Pitney some of the finest people I have ever known, along with theiir children. What a blessing it was for me to have association with your family during the years of church service that allowed me to have semi-regular interaction with the Pitney’s. At a time like this, one can never come up with all the right words, share all the heartfelt feelings occuring, as I remember my association with Floyd and his family. When you look under the word “kindness” in the dictionary, there is a picture of Floyd and Becky Pitney. What an overwhelming and incredible blessing we have, to know of the plan of salvation, where we were before coming to this earth, why we are here on this earth and where we are going after this earth life. I am 100% certain of Floyd’s continuation of life. He lives on in a very desirable condition of happiness, peace and anticipation of being reunited with his dear wife Becky and his children, in the future. Floyd remains the husband of Becky Pitney and the father of all his children. Floyd’s love and desires for his family have only intensified and grown since his passing into the spirit world. He will continue to love, care for and watch over his family. I know this to be true. As Floyd’s passing is so close to Christmas, I am reminded of the miracle we celebrate at this time of year, the birth of the Savior of Floyd, the Pitney family, all of us. Because of Jesus Christ and temple covenants centered in Christ, Floyd and Becky will be reunited one day as husband and wife, never to be separated again. I am certain Floyd’s greatest desire right now is to be reunited with his wife and expanded family again some day. I express my sincere appreciation and gratitude to my Heavenly Father for allowing me to associate with and have friendship with, the Floyd and Becky Pitney family for many years. I testify to the Pitney family Floyd will not be far away. His love for his family has only increased since his passing. He will continue to fulfill his role as husband and father.

    Much Love,
    Dennis Johnson
    Gilbert, AZ.
