Ernst Nelo Tietjen, 83, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2016 in Mesa, Arizona.
Ernie is survived by his nine children, Cindy Richards, Judy Renfro, Colleen Bowman, Jill Schnepf, David Tietjen, Nola Stewart, Dale Tietjen, Devin Tietjen and Derek Tietjen, 123 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are December 8, 2016 at 7 PM, preceded by a visitation 6 PM, at the LDS Centennial Ward Building, 422 E. University, Mesa, Arizona 85203.
Ernie was a very dear friend in my youth. I am sad to hear of his passing. Wishing his family peace and comfort at this time.
To Mr. Tietjen’s family, I’m very sorry for your loss. It’s my hope that you can draw comfort and strength from Jehovah God’s promises in the Bible. Revelation 21: 3, 4 and John 5: 28, 29 promise that there will soon be a time when there will be no more sickness, or death, and we can see the loved ones we have lost in death again. Please accept my deepest condolences.
