Claudia Hope DeTemple

Claudia Hope DeTemple, 89, of Portland, OR passed away Oct. 24, 2010 in Mesa, AZ. She was born in Portland on July 1, 1921 and lived her whole life in Oregon until just 3 months ago when she came to Arizona. She graduated from Kellogg Elementary School and Franklin High School and spent most of her life as a loving and caring homemaker. Hope was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be surely missed by her family. Hope was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold DeTemple, and great-granddaughter, Sophie Hope DeTemple. She is survived by her children, David J. (Elaine) DeTemple of Gilbert, AZ, and Claudia Diane (John) McDermott of Stayton, OR, 8 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be Monday, Nov.1, 2010 at 11 AM at Lincoln Memorial Park, 11801 SE Mt. Scott Blvd, Portland OR
