  • Sister Margaret Doran

It has been a privilege to work with such a caring, compassionate person. it is wonderful to know that her mission is continuing in another area.

  • Sis Nora Nell Thompson

Sis Parker was a very sweet person to work with on the Family History Mission. A true Lady and so valiant in her assignments. We are sure she will be continuing her service now that she is on the other side of the veil. Our prayers are that your family will feel the comfort of the Holy Ghost to help you through this brief time of separation.

  • Sister Ruth Sutton

How we loved your mother and wife, and grandmother, as she served so beautifully in the Family Search Mission. We have missed her, but are gratetful for the time we were able to serve with her. May the peace of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His atonement find place in your hearts. She was a beautiful example of how to live a Christ like life. Our love and sympathy we send to all her family at this time and in the days ahead.

  • Sister Parker was a beautiful person….we spent many a time talking about her cancer and how she was feeling…..She loved her family so much …..
She was a great missionary and I will miss her shining voice

  • Sister Jene Housley

Sister Parker was a great Family History Missionary. She served diligently and faithfully. We will miss her insight and devotion. I send love and condolences to her family. She loved you dearly! We love her….

  • Sister Terrie Fitch

Sister Parker was a dear friend and pen pal. We worked together at Family Search. She knew how to bring joy to others and to help encourage other missionaries to be better servants of the Lord as they worked as missionaries as she was. I will miss her cackling laugh……she will be missed.

  • I wrote on her Skype page on March 11th. Just now able to add it here. “I am so thankful for your release Sister Parker. I will miss you so much– you were the most fun missionary I ever worked with. Family who will be reading this now. Thanks be to Heavenly Father for taking you now and ending the suffering.”
Adding to that today, Bettye was diligent to a T, digging deep to get things right before explaining her position as she worked to better the FamilySearch experience for patrons. She was tenacious, pushing on until she simply no longer could. She was one of my few true friends on this Family Search World Wide Support Mission and I miss her every day. I wonder what our assignment will be when we see one another again.

  • Bettye was first my next door neighbor, then my best friend in 2nd grade. I was in her wedding party. She was always the sweetest, kindest and most fun person. I was so very saddened to hear of her struggles with cancer and her passing. She was one of the good ones and deserved a longer, easier life. My condolences to her family. Hugs

  • She was my loved gramma and she will always be loved ❤️
