I took piano lessons from Alice when I was a teenager. She was always patient, kind, and encouraging. She was a very talented lady! I loved to listen to and watch her play the accordion. She will be missed!

  • Jerry, Please know that many thoughts and prayers are with you and your family now.

  • Alice won’t be missed “only by her music students”. This physically “tiny” woman was an “Enormous” Spiritual Leader. She had an endless circle of friends and followers among the spiritual and metaphysical people in Mesa, The Valley and Arizona. Alice helped so many of us with the lessons we needed to progress on our paths to being all that we could be. She was a healer of body, mind and spirit to many that knew not what they were missing. Alice was gifted in so many ways that it is hard to give her due tribute. I, for one, am grateful that our life paths came together for a time. May Alice have The Afterlife as beautiful and as peaceful as she knew would be hers. We will miss her dearly until we meet again. To Alice’s Family, may you find comfort in knowing that Alice is truly HOME and AT PEACE in a place she knew far better than her Mesa home. May you be surrounded in the Love and Light that we knew as Alice Lucille Penrod.

I am in Arizona today..from Oklahoma, I came here to See Alice, I loved her very very much! She always believed in me and wanted me to move to Arizona! She taught me a lot ..I went to her classes in healing & spirituality, and learn about how to use , receive and share with others, the gifts that we are blessed with ,within each and everyone of us! I love you Alice ..I am so sorry I missed you ..and I had hoped to see you today! You are forever in my heart you gave me hope and Courage, that I could not find within myself! You are my best friend , and family , you instantly invited me in to be part of your family… And from what I heard back in 1995 that that is not something you do very often.. and meeting me that very first day ..you did not know that I really didn’t have any family , & you accepted me & and honored me, me as one of your own. Thank you Alice for all that you are , all that you have been , and all that you will continue to be… In my heart!
I am so sad to hear of your passing.. the world was made better because you were in it!

Forever, I will think of you with , so much love and appreciation.

  • To Mrs. Penrod’s family, I’m very sorry for your loss. I wanted to offer you some comfort that I’ve found in the Bible. In John 11:25 Jesus said “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life.” It’s my hope that you can draw comfort and strength from this promise that we can see the loved ones we have lost again.
