Oh my dear Bishop Crum!! What a wonderful, kind man. Always with a smile on his face. I was lucky to have you guys as neighbors growing up. I even remember learning how to drive a stick shift going to your house with my dad.
Love and prayers to all the family.

Robert Crum was a all about service, temple and had unwavering faith. I have many wonderful memories of him during my years….in 17th Ward. My prayers are with you Barbara and Ruthann and other family members. The world will not be the same with him.

  • Dear Susan, Justin and Family,
All my prayers and love are going out to your family. The loss of a love one hurts us but their legacy is where they live on.
I miss all of your beautiful faces.
    With love, Debbie Baker…

  • Uncle Rob will be missed. I will remember him as a strong hard working man. My family sends love and prayers to the Crum family.

  • I was a priest when Robert Crum became my bishop. He interviewed me for my mission. He helped me earn the plumbing merit badge on a trip to his shop. While camping with us boy scouts and trying to start a fire, he pulled out a plumbing torch which he called his “boy scout match” to shorten the firebuilding process. I recall his gentle manner and soft humor which always made me comfortable to be with him. He will be missed. My love and prayers are with Barbara and the family.

  • I’m so sorry for your family’s loss. Having just lost my own dad, I know how heavy your heart feels right now. You are so lucky to have been raised in the church by such a dedicated man. I hope you are comforted by the knowledge of the Plan of Salvation & the Holy Spirit. I have to do the research & work to have my dad’s temple work done for him. You & your family are in my prayers. Please rest and allow yourself time to grieve & heal. May your father rest in peace. Love, Julie Davis & Family

I’ve been thinking of you all day, Barbara, and your family. It was difficult to hear of Bob passing. He was one of the good guys for sure, but especially good to me. One of the few who still treated me the same after Elmo’s passing. I so appreciated that as did my children. And you, too, for continuing to do good things for and with my family. I am out of state presently and was unable to attend the funeral–something that made me sad today. I am sure it was a wonderful service and did justice in paying homage to Bob. Surely hope to drop by for a visit when I get home. May you be blessed and comforted at this time. Losing a beloved spouse is never easy no matter when it happens, but I am grateful for the years you had together. Can’t help but think that Bob and Elmo are getting ready for a good visit now his services are over. Who knows, maybe Bob invited Elmo to come with him to listen. Much love, Diane
